Description
This IPAF 1b, 3a and 3b course provides operators with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate a range of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs). The training covers static boom platforms, scissor lifts and mobile boom machines commonly used for working at height in construction, maintenance and industrial environments.
Delivered by experienced instructors, the course combines classroom based theory with practical hands on training to ensure delegates fully understand safe operating procedures, hazard awareness and current safety guidance.
During the course delegates will learn how to carry out pre use inspections, identify potential hazards, operate the equipment safely and follow best practice when working at height.
On successful completion of the theory and practical assessments, delegates will receive recognised IPAF certification confirming their competence to operate MEWPs in the relevant categories.
This course is suitable for new operators who require formal training, as well as experienced operators who need recognised certification for workplace compliance.
