Description
This IPAF 3a course provides operators with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate vertical mobile elevating work platforms, commonly known as scissor lifts. These machines are widely used for working at height in construction, maintenance, warehousing and industrial environments.
Delivered by experienced instructors, the course combines classroom based theory with hands on practical training to ensure delegates fully understand safe operating procedures, hazard awareness and current safety guidance.
Delegates will learn how to carry out pre use inspections, identify potential hazards, position and operate the equipment safely, and follow best practice when working at height.
On successful completion of the theory and practical assessments, delegates will receive recognised IPAF certification confirming their competence to safely operate scissor lifts and other vertical MEWPs.
This course is suitable for new operators requiring formal training, as well as experienced operators who need recognised certification for workplace compliance.
