Description
Our IPAF 1b course is designed for operators who need to safely use static boom mobile elevating work platforms. These machines are typically vehicle mounted or trailer mounted and are commonly used for temporary work at height.
Delivered in line with International Powered Access Federation standards, the course combines classroom theory with practical training to ensure delegates fully understand safe operating procedures, risk awareness and current legislation.
Participants will learn how to carry out pre use inspections, position and operate the machine safely, identify potential hazards and follow best practice when working at height.
On successful completion, delegates receive recognised IPAF certification, confirming their competence to operate static boom MEWPs safely and effectively. This course is suitable for new operators or those requiring formal qualification.
