Description
This IPAF 3b course provides operators with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate mobile boom mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs). These machines are commonly used for working at height where extended reach and manoeuvrability are required, such as in construction, maintenance and industrial environments.
Delivered by experienced instructors, the course combines classroom based theory with hands on practical training to ensure delegates fully understand safe operating procedures, hazard awareness and current safety guidance.
Delegates will learn how to carry out pre use inspections, identify potential hazards, position and operate the machine safely, and follow best practice when working at height.
On successful completion of the theory and practical assessments, delegates will receive recognised IPAF certification confirming their competence to safely operate mobile boom MEWPs.
This course is suitable for new operators who require formal training, as well as experienced operators who need recognised certification for workplace compliance.
